Peyton Manning Has a Problem with Tom Brady’s Madden Rating

The Madden rating are always a point of disagreement every single year. Players are always unhappy with ratings because there are very few 99s available in the game. The ratings are usually based on NFL stats and performances from past seasons.

A player like Tom Brady has been in over 20 Madden video games. The quarterback has achieved a 99 rating in the past, but those days are gone.

The quarterback is still a top-tier signal-caller, but he is not the best in the NFL.

Yet, Brady is still consistently in the nineties at 44 years of age. Brady has always had a rivalry with Peyton Manning, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Manning may be out of football, but he is still making his opinions heard.

His most controversial opinion as of late has been Brady’s Madden rating. Manning wants EA Sports to change his rating in the 2022 version of the game.

Manning and Brady

EA Sports is still promoting Madden 22 heavily as the season winds down, and Manning plays a considerable role in the game. He is one of the legends featured in the various game modes.

Additionally, he will also help serve as a Madden Ratings Adjustor for marketing purposes, and he is coming for Brady.

If EA Sports lets him go to work, he has promised to have Brady’s ratings altered to knock him out of the nineties. In the latest marketing ad, Manning said he worked hard for 18 seasons in the NFL for one goal.

This goal was to become a Madden Rating Adjustor. This will be the way he gets back at Brady for all the defeats throughout his career.

This news was shared through a video on the Madden NFL Twitter.

The best quote from the video was, “I did especially think that Brady’s accuracy rating was just a bit high.”

Brady is still one of the most accurate quarterbacks in the NFL, but this is definitely an intriguing marketing tactic for the video game.

Manning and Brady are widely considered the best two quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. Brady was definitely better than Manning during his time in the NFL. However, Brady is the best when it comes to winning the big game.

Brady continues to etch his name into the record books at 44 years old. In 2021, he put together another Hall of Fame season, and it looks like he could lead the Buccaneers to their second straight Super Bowl.

After departing New England, Brady led Tampa Bay to the Super Bowl in 2020-21. The Buccaneers were 7-9 in the 2019 season behind Jameis Winston. Chad Johnson has served as a Madden Ratings Adjustor, and he was cautious about letting Manning get his hands on Brady’s stats.

In the video, Johnson questioned if Manning would make every quarterback worse. It was clear what the Super Bowl champion had on his mind. Madden 22 is currently available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Stadia, and PC.

Franchise Mode Improvements

Manning is joining the marketing team for Madden as EA is trying to sell more games with the season winding down. Even though the season is nearly over, EA Sports has promised to improve its franchise mode.

These updates were supposed to come throughout the season, but the company dropped the ball. Only one of the significant franchise mode updates came during the regular season.

Scouting was the feature that was delayed but still launched by the company. In late November, it was revealed that EA Sports canceled the remainder of the updates.

There are conflicting reports on this topic, but it appears that franchise mode will be revamped even as the company turns its attention to the 2023 game. The promised update is with the scenario engine, meaning more can happen in gameplay.

This will occur throughout the first few months of the New Year.
